Individuals will face a number of situations during the course of their career. La Mente sport is designed to provide athletes with proactive tools and skills they can use to meet the demands of these situations. Though combining mentoring and psychological support, we help our athletes achieve the outcomes they want from their careers.
PERFORMANCE MINDSET SESSIONS

Dealing with performance blocks —confidence issues, anxiety, fear of judgment, and perfectionism—can prevent peak performance.

If you're injured, we set recovery goals, addressing re-injury anxiety to help you rebuild mental and physical strength.

For those out of form, we create a mental performance framework to manage disappointment, focus on controllables, and let your game speak for itself.

For regular competitors, we develop a tailored mental skills strategy, targeting areas like self-talk, visualization, goal-setting, mindfulness, and mood management, ensuring these skills align with your unique performance needs.


HOW SUPPORT WORKS
Elite athletes tend to request ongoing support throughout the course of a season and is based around their training and competition schedules. Amateur Athletes tend to need a minimum 5 or 6 sessions which are typically delivered on a weekly or fortnightly basis. We use cognitive-behaviour and solutions-focused approaches which helps the athlete understand the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and teaching them to be effective problem-solvers so that under the pressure and stress of competition, they have a mindset built for performance.
